Patrons who use a wheelchair are permitted to purchase up to three contiguous companion seats based on availability. Wheelchair seating is sold on a first-come, first-serve basis at the theatre box office or by purchasing through Broadway Direct. To purchase online, select the performance of choice and select the “Accessible” filter button on the top right of the page, above the map of the Minskoff Theatre. This will highlight on the map where the wheelchair accessible, semi-ambulatory, deaf/hard of hearing/blind/low vision preferred seats, and companion seats are located in the theatre. This theatre has access to escalators and limited access to an elevator.
Wheelchair Accessible Restroom: The Minskoff Theatre is equipped with wheelchair accessible restrooms on the theatre’s Orchestra level, as well as on the Mezzanine level. They can be accessed via a main lobby elevator that is strictly designated for guests with disabilities.
Seat Accessibility: There are designated wheelchair and companion seating in the rear of the Orchestra section. These locations are the ONLY ones that do not involve steps.
Services for Guests with Disabilities: Theatre representatives are available to meet patrons with disabilities in the lobby of the building to escort them to their seats.
At the Minskoff, we offer assisted listening devices and on-demand closed captions and pre-recorded audio description through the use of I-Caption devices and through the GalaPro App on your personal device.
